Inspired by the corrugated iron-fenced laneways in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, the Fence Series is a 2020 series of three, seven-fold, inkjet-printed concertina books.
The Fence concertina books are part of an ongoing project entitled ‘a good substantial fence’. The project explores the history and impact of fences in Old Eastside, a suburb of Mparntwe/Alice Springs. Each concertina includes a poem written by Davies.
