A visual essay by Carlo Oggioni. Shot on traditional analogue film, the travels on trains, buses and trams of Melbourne became the subject of Carlo’s story, titled “Behind This Line”.
This project, completed between 2010 and 2018, explores the impact of commuting on an individual in an ever growing and gentrified metropolis like Melbourne, and challenges the viewer to reflect on the sacrifices made in the pursuit of productivity and success in the modern world.
